PDF drawings on my iPhone & iPad
I did a search and couldn't find anything on the subject here. If this is an old subject let me know.
This morning, I figured out how to open all my .PDF drawings on my iPhone.
Since I usually have 7 or 8 jobs going at the same time, this is going to be a huge time saver. I'm using Acrobat Reader for the phone and Acrobat.com, Cloud for the file storage. Since I'm a registered user of Adobe software, Acrobat Cloud was free.
From the phone I can email the pdf, print it, and do some primitive editing. The biggest advantage for me is simply being able to view it and zoom in.
Is anyone else doing this?Greg

I use Sugarsync, and can access all my files from any device...many use dropbox as well....just used it yesterday and was able to open up some pdf and dwg files via apps on my Ipad and Android phone.
Good luck!

I use Carbonite and download pdf files at the office using my wifi (save the data package). Carbonite will give me the option to open with iBooks, then I just name and save the file there. Then iCloud syncs it with my iPad. As you say, huge time saver indeed. Probably one of the main reasons I purchased an iPad mini shortly after they came out. I use it for just about everything on job sites.

I just save my PDFs to ibooks and open from there on iphone and ipad ... but, cloud storage sounds like a good idea.

Does chief's room planner app open Chief .plan files as a viewer? haven't tried it....that would be ideal....don't care if I can modify it, just want a viewer...but making annotations to it would be nice.

I happy to hear there are so many options that work. When I need it, I bring a laptop (MacBook Air) on the job but I don't like exposing it to the dust and dirt of a job site.
Being able to do this on a phone that's in my pocket is going to be huge advantage.Greg
