Try using a slab door make it thick like glass block and assign glass block material and look inside or out in vector views.

Glass Block Windows
Peter: I made another glass block window a different way - gutted a fixed glass unit and inserted a polyline solid converted to glass block and drug it into the center of the frame in plan and gave it a cross hatch fill for plan view appearance. You will see from the inside view that the glass block is still obscure which is the way it always is for me, whether in a window or in a shower wall or wherever else I may use them. curtAttachment 5890

thanks all for your input. The methods described will help for various applications
Can someone please tell me how to make glass show up in any normal window. My glass shows up fine everywhere except in internal camera or vector views. I am probably missing a simple setting, but have searched high and low and am now completely stumped.
See attached picture.
PS.: apologies, Chuck, for hijacking the thread

Blockheads
Here's my version, I cropped off a single glass block with a photo program, and sprayed in on the 6 layered cube, then put them in "Casing supressed" window-holes

Curt,
You need to offset your texture pattern so you don't get half blocks on each side. I see from your screen shot you have version 10.Dennis Gavin CR, CKBR

Dennis: Thanks. I noticed that but didn't take time to make that adjustment. I will try that when I have time.

Curt, you can also move the material on x and y axis to make it "fit" within the frame.

Thanks Adam - I really haven't used this feature although I think there is a tr.vid. that demonstrates what you are talking about (changing a ceiling grid to match or balance with wall lines).

Also, you can change the ratio to exhibit different sizes and shapes. You just have to do the math based on what's already there.
