I don't think I understand the question/comments.
As far as I can tell, a CAD Box can't ever be "broken" (using either the Break Line tool or Edit Polyline Parts) regardless of what view it was drawn in.
A Standard Polyline, drawn using the Rectangular Polyline tool, should be able to be broken regardless of what view it was drawn in.
