Creating porch columns with masonry base

I was able to create the base using Primitive Tools, Box, 3D Box changing the exterior material to a stone from one of the manufacturer catalogs. This was pretty straight forward. I used width of 16", height of 48", and depth of 16".

For the limestone top of the base, this took some trial and error. I started off the same using Primitive Tools, Box changing the exterior material to a limestone. This was pretty straight forward. I used width of 22", height of 2 1/4", and depth of 22".

Now I needed to get the limestone to show on top of the base; to do this the Origin Z: field was changed to 48". This put the limestone on top the base.

For the post, I used a standard 4" x 4".

Come on buddy, post the the plan. Do you really expect someone to figure out the issue without a plan. I even did a two part video series today discussing slabs vs psolids vs primitives and the advantages of each.

I will probably get into trouble for this.
