frustrating stairs
i have bien working on these stairs all day trying all sorts of different things to make them come out looking right and so far no go. i have had alot of help from this forum but everytime i get one thing figured out it seems something else breaks. i was wondering if anyone could look at this blueprint i have here and tell me a good way of getting these stairs the way they should be and there is a wierd issue with under the second set of stairs for some reason i cant get rid of that hole i've made sure that open underneeth was turned off. and i even clicked the closed sides button. this is a very comon staircase in the series of houses i'm working on and it seems to be very difficult to pull off.

It looks to me that the "hole" is the area behind the bath. You might try extending the center stair wall past the rear wall of the bath to close the "hole" ...
So, is the problem with the stairs or with the hole?

that picture dont show it but the stairs do go past the bathroom wall. and my problem is with the opening under the upper stairs and trying to get the railing like it should be like its shown in the blueprint. everytime i try to add railing it goes along the wall rather then ending at the wall like in the picture.

Sorry this is giving you a problem, you can draw a wall through the stair, it will cut off under the stair.

I need work on stairs so I tryed this a few times today.
The platform I went to cad mode, used box tool, converted to platform, set hieght to 4'.Then used line break to add a jog in it.
Walls under stairs, you have to drag under to get the right look.
Hope this helps
