    Cabinet resizing

    Greetings everyone,
I installed Ver7 and have been running it about 2 weeks, and now seem to have a problem with resizing cabinets & shelves.

I've gone into Plan defaults and clicked on resize enable, but still cannot resize cabinets with the mouse. I have to go into the cabinet spec dialog and type in a dim., and the odd times when I type in a width it automatically changes to 2047.

I'm at a loss as to what to do, anyone else have this problem, or am I over looking something.

    Thanks, Kevin

Just discovered that I can change depth only, with the mouse. In 3d I can change width with mouse ok.

    Kevin,

Sorry you are having a problem. I am also sorry I cannot confirm that my two machines with Version 7 on them are not producing a similar difficulty with resizing cabinets.

Under "cabinet defaults" you might set the "increments" to 1 inch, I have found that that makes resizing cabinets in whatever view much easier.

this problem will happen if you set your cabinet default's minimum width to less than 1 inch as when you close the dbx it will set it to 0 instead of any fraction, reset this to a value over 1 and it should work okay if you need anything under 1 inch use the partitionas it can be set down to at least 1/16"
