X6 with XP
Just down loaded the new release of CA X6 and all semed well but I got a message that some of the features of CA will not work with XP. My question is: What features are these and is it time to up grade to Windows 8?

Upgrade.
XP is a dinosaur and we are no longer supporting it.
While it might be possible to get X6 to run on XP I don't think we have tested it enough there to know what works and what doesn't. We are currently supporting Vista and higher on Windows and Lion and Higher on Mac.Doug Park

Yikes, what does that make me? All my other apps run just fine on XP.XP is a dinosaur

That just makes you a slow adopter of new technology. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, but at some point one does have to move on.
There are a lot of reasons not to use XP which have been discussed on this forum in the past.
Microsoft is dropping all support of XP http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...d-support-help
