Transparent glass material in vector view?
I am trying to get a custom shower enclosure to read correctly in vector view, so that you can see the tile pattern beyond. There doesn't seem to be a way to make the glass material transparent. (Again, I'm referring to VECTOR view; renders are not a problem.) It is mystifying, because glass doors show correctly, but eyedroppering the glass material doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I use the "Delete Surface" tool for vector view interior elevations (you delete the glass temporarily from the view, then send to layout).

I'm not at my computer that has Chief on it, but I think it is in the Default Settings tab under Camera and 3D Views. There should be a box to un-check for opaque glass in vector view.

Richard,
How have you drawn the shower screen?
By using a window, a slab, polysolid, etc?
Post a small plan.Glenn
