Polyline Solid draws on the wrong floor

I will re clarify what I mean. Draw in a first floor and foundation in plan. Cross section the plan and draw a polyline solid on the foundation wall floor convert it to whatever fill in the fill style to a color. Then go to plan view on the first floor and you will see the polyline solid on the first floor wall not the foundation. You have to copy it on the first floor and paste it back on to the foundation floor.
