x5 window protruberence
What is this protruding from my window in X5? I have the casing layers turned off.

Thanks Graeme. That must be a check box switch that has always been checked in previous versions. I will send this in as a help ticket in case that is what happened.

Support says that this is a new check box. The problem is due to me bringing my plan forward for my profile plan. I will need to update my profile plan to reflect this change.

In prior versions, your window frame was the wrong size for your wall but you could not tell unless you looked at it in a camera view. In X5, we display the window frame in plan view using the actual size specified. Also, in X5 we added the ability to have your window frame automatically be sized to fit the size of the wall.
The bottom line is that if you bring any older plans forward into X5, you may want to adjust the size of the window frame so that it looks the way you want it to.Dermot Dempsey
