I spent the entire day trying to create a dormer by using the auto dormer tool then exploding it and attempting to figure out the rest by myself. After posting the plan and working another half day, I decided to start fresh by watching the chief video "drawing a dormer from scratch part I & II" not just parts but the whole video....If I would have started there first, it may have taken a couple of hours not days.....Please watch the videos best lesson learned!
