Text in 3D?
Does anyone know if there is a way to get text in a camera or 3D view?
I tried saving text in paint and then importing it to a Polyline Solid, but it just tiled the text and would not center it, plus it has a white background which I would prefer not to have. Any suggestions?

This Sketchup tutorial will show you how to make 3D text. It's first discussing annotation texts but toward the end will show you how to make 3D text. You can then save it as a skp file and import it into Chief.

I think the original poster is looking for text in a 3d view not 3d text. Or am I not missreading it (my tribute to Roger Clemens).....?

Thank you for the suggestions. I was looking for text in a 3D view. It turns out I did not have the 3D text downloaded to my library, so I downloaded it and that worked perfectly for what I needed. Thank you.
