Line weights for elevations in Layout

Whenever I sent elevation views to the layout page in X3, I then used to change the edge line and pattern line weights and colours.
I have just tried this in X4 and the boxes are greyed out!
Is there something I need to do enable this feature? Help!

I had been converting to cad before sending to layout, duh!

If you are sending to layout as an image you will not have access to those. Choose Entire plan/ view, Don't convert to cad ,send live, works great
