    Glass in windows not responding

Hi all,is it me or a global issue: no matter what I do to the glass in windows,it comes out totally transparent in Raytrace views. I have applied different colors, textures, used the 'adjust material definition' tool, the 'material eyedropper, the 'material painter' tool, fiddled with the opacity, translucency etc and each rendering comes out the same;clear glass. Can someone tell me what I am doing incorrectly? Thanks. Tony T Plans Ahead LLC Branford,Ct

Hard to say (if you are doing anything "wrong") we are more interested in doing something right, right?

Turn up the "Reflectivity" of the glass and perhaps you will then see the reflectivity which is kind of like seeing the glass.

I haven't done any intense ray-tracing recently but I am surprised that you can't see glass by turning up the translucence/opacity slider in Chief.

    Tony,

Try playing with the 3D...3D Settings...Options tab...General Options...Auto Adjust Default Glass Properties toggle.
