back clip cross section?
Is there an article online that describes this better? I don't have Chief Architect yet, so don't have access to Help and just need to have this explained in more detail. Or, if I get the CA demo, what subject do I look under. So far, exporting a dxf export from CA info online doesn't mention anything about "back clip cross section".
Q: Can I export the plain line elevation from Chief Architect to 2D .dxf for the purpose of editing those lines in a 2D CAD program?
A: Take a back clip cross section with patterns on and CUT TO CAD.
Thanks.Last edited by shokan; 03-01-2011 at 06:03 AM.

-what it means is you use the back clip camera to get the cut section view you want( see picture note red camera symbol position & length in the building) then export the current view as a dwg or dxf. Then edit in the program of your choosing.
hope that helps,
