ART provides a 90-day satisfaction guarentee period. If within that period of time you are not satisified with the product, you can return it and get your money back.

Since you bought the "entire" CA9.5 suite, I'm surprised you are not aware of this 90-day return period?

And I'm curious how in one week, with all those training CDs, you can say it is too hard to learn... I don't know what your previous experience with CAD is, but this is definitely one of the easier full-featured programs to learn! And I've used a wide variety of CAD for more than 20 years...

I'm not getting this???? You have been a registered Chief Forum user since Sep 2003. You must have seen all of the Threads posted here for Peer to Peer help! Give it a try...You've only had the software for a few days.

I agree with Christina, I too have had lot's of experience with other CAD programs. Although Chief Architect is a learning curve, all CAD software products will be!

Hang in there, you can do it

I'm with Rick. Looks like of of those "have money locked up in foreign country and need assistance to get it out" type of hoaxes. I bet he wants the money wired first. I don't like the looks of it.

I am one month new to chief and my only previous cad program was turbocad, chief has been everything as advertised as far as ease of use with training videos and program itself. Try being paitent if you really want to learn you can.

I would hope that everyone would be patient, and not make accusations if I were to choose to make a choice such as Damon has. I am also in the camp of Chief users that believes Chief to be the best software for my usage, but this may not be what Damon wishes.

Damon, I would recommend that you return the package to ART for the full refund. That would be the best way to get your money back.

I spent a lot of time with CA and finally got the hang of it my dad uses AutoDesk though since he's an engineer he says it's a little better. CA helped though with the movers we gave them a layout of the new house we moved to and where everything was going so it went pretty smoothly.

Chad,
Yep, that 90-day money back was a good deal back in 2004. Don't know why they went to 30 days?

Chad/Don:

If I remember right, someone from CA posted awhile back that 90 days gave enough time for someone to complete a project and turn the software back in

This thread is from 2004???? I'm not sure why we are replying to it. It's obvious this user probably sold the software or quit using it 6 years ago.
