    Split Level Houses

I'm having Trouble making a split level home and was wondering how the best way to go about it is?

I was thinking making the main floor the entry area and then making 2 other levels one being the basement and the second floor being the upstairs would this way of going about things work?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    Aaron

I'll just draw it like a normal house, and then just lower the entry and
    garage -54".

See my attached plan. This one actually has a living room lowered with the
entry, so I set that floor height to be -54" also. Also, it's still a WIP, so
please excuse the House Wizard boxes.

    It's a fairly simple process.

    Aaron:

It sounds like you have, what I would call, a Split Entry plan, where the entry level is between the basement and main levels. If that is the case I would place the the entry and main level on one plan and the basement on a different plan. You can change the levels of the floor in Chief.

I would also suggest making whatever is your lowest level that has actual living space Floor 1 and not Floor 0.
