Another way is if the walls already have a solid fill (which can be edited under wall DBX walll type (define) select main body of wall , select the fill you want.
Then back in plan view, open layer set ans scroll down to layer "Walls, main layer only" and check it. This will give you just the wall less interior and exterior finishings.
