Trees do not show up on layout but are on plan
I am using CA ver 10. When I send my elevations from the plan to the layout, any plants or trees that I might have on the plan do not show up on the layout. They are on the elevations on the plan but when I send the elevation over to the layout they aren't there. I am trying to make my plans look more professional but have not had much success. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Russell

Russell,
If you are using image based plants and trees that are bitmap images they can be seen in camera views but from layout they will not display or print; it is programmed that way(from Version 7 when they were added as an option to X2 this is still true). You can create a bitmap screen capture of a camera view and export that as an image and send that to layout as an image but not a vector-view with plant images in it, the two don't mix.
There are CAD-Block plants and trees that are 2-D that can be added to elevation views and sent to layout as they are the same type of line-based objects like is displayed on a layout page and will print.
