    cant limit an Attic wall

Attached is a view of an attic wall that is migrating up above a tall shop(garage) and messing up my gable end framing of that garage. Short of redrawing the plan, not sure how to proceed. If anyone would be interested in looking at this plan Id appreciate it. Also not sure how to zip and attach a whole plan.

    thank for your time

    To zip a plan:
    1. Save the plan.
    2. Close the plan.
    3. Go to your hard drive and find that plan/file.
    4. Right click on it: Send to...Zip File is one of the options.
    5. Computer creates a zipped file (a file folder with a zipper on it.)
    6. Go to Chieftalk: Go advanced replay.
    7. Attach file: Browse. Find Zipped file. Upload.
    8. Submit.

You have some room ceiling heights that are being problematic.
Did you manually draw the roof planes? There seems to be a somewhat misplaced roof base line over the front porch and that plane doesn't seem to quite join the next.

I'd suggest deleting the room planes.

Then I'd add a second floor with ceiling heights set to zero.
Then I'd draw the roof planes you want, along with the dormers and dormer walls, the open below bits, etc.

There are several other things you may want to attend to.

One way I approach these problems is to take a view, (3d) and have both plan and 3d open at the same time. Then I mess with the plan and watch what happens in 3d. Works great for learning stairs and roof planes, along with watching floors disappear in split-level homes.

Deleting roofs and re drawing them was the ticket. Thanks Mike
