Hmmm.. The indicator shows up for me. Sure it's not just being obscured by something else on the drawing, or maybe outside of your view window (zoom out)?

I just did another plan view and an elevation view, and the indicator shows in plan view only, does size of file sent to layout have anything to do with it? I only need small areas of both for this layout, (addendum to the full set.)
As you can see in attached, no indicator in the elevation view, but it's there in plan view. I've had this happen before but for the most part it's always there.

Sorry, I'm stumped. I don't tend to rotate views in elevation very often at all so I may not have noticed this before but I can't repeat it.

Neither do I .......the addendum happens to be printing as 8-1/2x11 portrait, and view to layout is defaulted to landscape, So I have to rotate the output to layout for portrait printing. It's a no biggie but just thought maybe it was something I was doing for the rotation arrow not to show. My work around was to export as a JPG and import to layout, it doens't need to be to scale soooooo........it'll do for now.

Doug:
If you want it "close" to scale, send the elevation to layout and then import the .JPG version and then grab a corner move handle of the .JPG and stretch until it "matches" the elevation.
You can then delete the "live" elevation or place it on a layer that can be turned off.

hi doug,
unfortunately the elevations don't rotate in the layout. so the best i can suggest is to do a view to cad of the elevation & send that to the layout--it will then rotate.
