Differing Ceiling heights between rooms
I have two rooms separated by a railing, both of which have a lowered ceiling. (This is in a commercial leased space, so the real ceiling is a 17'8" concrete slab.) In room A the ceiling is higher than room B. When standing in room A looking into room B, I need to have a wall that starts at the ceiling of room B and reaches to the ceiling of room A. (Obviously it will actually go to the upper deck...it will be steel studs. But for right now I just need to model it for interior design purposes.) How do I do that?
Thanks!

You could use a polyline solid, drawn in elevation view, make it the same thickness as your wall, and the same color.

Or a regular wall with a really wide doorway with casing suppressed?

Ah, didn't think of that. I'll try that too. Is their any advantage to soffits versus solid polylines? Will chief architect generate framing for soffits?
