On this topic
I just tried to Ray trace my house,it goes to start then "Raytrace could not be completed"
I tried different views=same thing..
It works on another house and a new test one...
Any ideas?
Thank you...........

Not writing the file
I am thinking this is a problem with XP or Vista not having permission to "write" on it's own in which the reason the Raytrace is stays just qued.

Yes, and I do believe this problem has been with us since XP and Chief 9.5?

This happened to me the other day, it was near the end of day, and i actually just forgot about it becuase i got caught up doing something else, and it had been sitting there not doing anything for at least an hour before i left...well, when i came in the next morning, my raytrace was there, all done
I was all like... "ahh..." and it was all like..."oh yeah..." and i was all like "uhh,?" and it was all like, "uh huh"...and i was all like "hmm..." and it was all like... well, you get the idea...Matthew

Well... I must have moved my Hard Drives around so... I messed up the directories which allowes Raytrace to work.
Check all of your INI files to make sure they are linked correctly. Or uninstall and reinstall Chief.
I have Chief 9.5 running on XP Pro.Rick J. Lee
