Fun in X-1
I was doing an online training and it cracked me up.
If you want to have fun in X-1, put floating dormers in the attic. Build a new blank floor. Take a look.
I do know one way to fix the existing condition, do you? ...and without deleting the dormers.Last edited by louis; 10-04-2007 at 03:36 PM.

We fixed the problem where dormers in the attic are deleted in 11.3.
We now retain them and move them up a floor.
Former versions of Chief just deleted the dormers. They are still there on the attic level so you could simply delete them and redraw them but if you really want them on the new blank floor you can move to the attic select them do a ctrl + X to cut them and move to the second floor and do a paste hold position.Dan Park,

Yes Dan, that is all true.
What if I want them in the attic? ...and you don't need to delete and redraw.

Eldon,
All you have to do is move it slightly.
