X1.3 Exporting Plans: Warning????
I'm getting this warning quite a bit in X1.3 when I export: "Cannot find or open the file to save your plan. If saving to removable disk, make sure the disk is ready"
I'm saving to the C: Drive. I've never had this problem with V10, 9, 8.
I export a lot and this is a bummer. Anyone know why this might be happening?
All files and images associated with this layout are intact and saved with the plan in the same file.
Thanks much, Barry

PS: After the warning I get an ssh exception and....
The exporting window with the progress thermometer locks up. Lovely.

More than likely it is a system problem.
Check to see if you have enough disk space.
Check to see that you have write access to the directory you are saving to.
Run chkdsk to make sure you drive isn't having issues.
Try saving to another drive, if you can.
It is very unlikely that this is a general problem with Chief as this code gets exercised a lot for creating cad details.Doug Park

I import and export regularly, and am not having any problems. I've gotten that message when I navigated to the correct directory and then forgot to type in a name. I know - it's a long shot, and please don't think I'm implying that you don't know what you're doing. We all have an "Inner Idiot" that goes to work in our place now and then.

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)
