    Plotting Question for Reprographics Service

Have a question regarding setting up layout sheets to be plotted by a reprographics service bureau.

Have defined the plotter to be used (HP 755 CM in this case) using 24 x 36 bond. My question is this: When there are various layout sheets to be plotted in a file, for example C-1, A1.1, S-1, etc., will the entire set of drawings be plotted? Or do I need to open each view (layout) and save each individual file (view) separately?

I have named the file with .prn after it so that the plot file will be recognized by the plotter.

Have used a local reprographics studio with AutoCAD 2000, but I don't believe they have Chief Architect. I don't want to have to name and send each view individually unless necessary. It would be simpler to name one file with all layouts attached.

Thank you for any help with this question.
    Regards,

    I use PDF, but...

You might be able to send them the whole plot and tell them which pages to print from that set.

Or, save your layout with a new name and delete the pages you don't need and plot from there.
