Viper V770 video problem with Chief 6.0

I have a Dell XPST 550 with 256 mb of SDRAM w/ECC a Diamond V770 w/32 mb RAM and 20 gb HDD. I have no problems running CA 6.0-10/21 under any resolution or color combination. I am using W98 2nd Edition the original drivers Dell supplied with the system in July. Since you have at least two systems it would not apear to be a hardware problem. You might try an older video card from one of your older systems. I would also get a copy of W98 2nd Edition and try it on one of the systems. NT sometimes has driver incompatibility problems that W 98 2-E does not have.
