mixing renderings and photos
I'm just wondering about a method to insert a chief rendering into a photograph. The design review people would like to see what a house I'm drawing is going to look like in context with the neighboring homes. Is this possible? Is it possible to take seperate digital pictures of three homes which are situated side by side on a street, mix them together as one, then insert a chief jpeg in the place of the middle structure? Any advice on what sort of program would be required? Thanks, Tom

Louis, while you're online, I really enjoy your training videos. I am having a problem viewing the ones that say they have no sound though. I get a message that says something like, "incorrect skin. stopping". I'd really love to check out the one on how to do reflections on mirrors so it's kind of frustrating. Do you have any idea what that message is all about and how to fix the issue? Thanks, Tom

That is an old video.
You don't need to do it that way any longer since we have raytracing which auto reflects.

Oh, I see. I have noticed that the ray tracing looks pretty real with windows but I've never tried it with a mirror before. By the way, that paint pro program is pretty cool. I stuck one of my drawings in a picture of a lot I was contemplating buying and, lo and behold, it looked pretty real. Thanks again for the turn-on. I think I'm going to have fun with that!
