    Polyline Solid in 3D?

Did a quick search of the forum and didn't seem to find what I was looking for. If I have a polyline solid, have verified that it is a polyline solid, it is on the default CAD layer, that layer is set to display in 3D, what could be a reason why that polyline solid would not show up in a 3D view? (I'm still struggling with the layers/layer sets concept, need to look over those training videos again!)

I would check its elevation or height above floor. It could be at a height that places it inside of another object in 3D or it may be inside of the fllor system.

Many times I'v created a solid on one floor (usually on the 2nd fl) Like a shower pan, and it ends up on the 1st floor, I just copy & paste with fixed point back to 2nd floor.

I think the default for polysolids is height=0 (which places it on the first floor in most cases) therefore, if you want it to be on the second floor, you need to set a height and a thickness to suit your needs.

I don't think it should be this way. It should be based on the floor that you place it on. Just my 2 cents worth.

If you're setting the polyline solid on the second floor.
Set the height @ the actual floor elevation, i.e., 108" or
some-such (Or maybe "0" if it's the first floor). Seems that if I carried a piece of furniture upstairs,
and set in on the floor, it just wouldn't seem 9 ft high.
