change of floor levels

I have a verandah around all sides of the house and have reduced the level by 4" this is ok but one room inside allways defaults to this level,even after I rebuild walls,floors and ceilings can someone suggest a correction.

You cannot have a room like a island inside another room, connect the perimeter verandah to main building wall inside with a invisable wall.
