Logs in Wall specification dbx
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a way to show true logs for the outside walls for a log home. The logs in the material list to patch on a wall is not satisfactory. Has anyone a means to bring a true log wall in the wall specification dbx?
Thanks for your help.God bless America

There is a tutorial video that shows how to use logs instead of a log texture.

Here is a log house I did using a texture. It doesn't look too bad but it won't show the individual logs in the plan view. Look at the video and use the symbols as the video shows.

logs in wall spec dbx
Hello Tommy,
I know about the video, it is very cumbersome to put the logs around a gable with several triangle or trapazoid windows. This is for hobbyists. I need to make $$$ in this business! Please tell me more about the textures you used. I think this is the way to go. I can then put them in my wall spec dbx and I am ready to go. Thanks for the picture, it looks terrific!
Any help will be highly appreciated.God bless America

The zip file is too large to post here. Send me an email and I'll send it to you.
