interior light shadow anomalies
My 2nd post:
Attached images have shadows that bothers me. Are there a CA fix for these.

IN the first picture you could try adding a spot light to each fixture so it shines on the void assumed by chief. In the 2nd you could try adding a point light on a low setting set about 2' below the ceiling.
The idea is to counter what chief interpolates for the shadows.Dennis Gavin CR, CKBR

I had something like this in the past. I think the first shadow is from the metal "pin" on the underside of the domed light fixture. I usually use "add" lights instead of light fixture lights for reasons like this and greater flexibility. You can also see if there is a similar fixture without the bit of metal on the underside. Or in the materials dbx, turn the metal to the same glass material as the rest of the light and that might solve it too.

I actually think the second image is the light from your ceiling fixtures reflecting back to the ceiling from the floor....
Christina is right with the metal nobby on the lights in Fig 1.
