I wish you could select an object and be able to move incremently with the arrow keys. Text, polyline solids, what ever. If there is a way besides the transform/replicate tool please let me know.

I remembered this post today when I was adding stacked windows to an entire wall in elevation, which can tend to be problematic. I thought about your post and the light went on.
