Copy Terrain or copy plans
Good morning,
Is there a good way to either copy an exisitng terrain to a new plan or copy the new plan to the original terrian and eliminate the old plan?
Where I design (Conway NH) we have a lot of houses have walk out basements. I am now designing a house identical in size (but with different interior layout windows etc) to an earlier house that has the terrain completed. Is there an easy way to re-use the terrain for the second house and not have to re-do the terrain. This design is fairly popular and I suspect I may be doing others like it?
Again thanks for any help you can give me.Doug Somerville

Doug:
Sounds like you want a revised version of the same basic plan. If that is true then: You should open the plan you want to revise "Save As" a new plan in a new folder and make the revisions to that copy of the plan.Larry

Also, consider the "Edit Area" tools

Try the "Import Terrain" wizard. I'm not sure if it is applicable in this situation, I believe it is for importing terrain data from a surveyors report, but I would think you could export a terrain and then re-import it like you do with symbols.
Just an un-educated guess here.Allen Brown
