The term "house model" is throwing me off.

When I looked at electrical layerset, as you said in your example, I see walls represented by two cad lines. Also, when I click on cad footprint, I initially get a view that looks like that, too. Is it safe to assume that when you and David talk about a model, that is what you mean? Because I was talking about the "footprint polyline", which is an option you can check in the plan footprint and get a different view.

I prefer to keep everything in layersets, as you suggest. However, on the site plan I want to show only the "outline" of the house. I can't find a simple way to do both. So if I want to show the outline only, I have to go the cad detail route for the site plan.

Am I missing some way to create the plan footprint outline and put it on it's own layer? That way I could have the best of both worlds.
