Attic wall problem X1.5.4

I still have a problem with an attic wall situation that didn't exist in 10. In a lot of plans where you have a brick wall and a siding gable wall above, I need to to move the siding gable attic wall out so that the siding extends out past the brick. This was never a problem in 10. In X1, if you move the attic (siding) wall out more than 2", it disappears. If you try to move it in an elevation, it messes up. If then you try to reset the default height and bottom, it shows the default being reset but not in the elevation. This means I'm back to Cliff's workaround of making a thicker attic wall so that the siding of the gable wall extends out past the brick below.
