Where are my framing studs?
In my materials dialog box I have "Framing fir studs" selected, when I take a camera view it shows a "Solid" fir wall, I need to show the studs in camera views.
I am familiar in using the "Wall framing" and those views, but I need to be in the Lower level in an unfinished basement to show the framing.
How is this done?
Thank You
David

David,
If you require a 3-D camera view that shows "naked" studs against a CMU or Conc. stem wall you can make a custom wall type that includes the outer layer of stem wall and an inner layer of studs. Then Build Framing via the Framing dialog box. Turn on "Show Framing" in "3-D Preferences" then you should be able to have the visual product you seek. Is this what you did?

Another approach. After the basement is built, draw the interior walls butting them to the foundation wall. Draw the partition walls. Then build wall framing. Go to 3D preferences, include, wall framing. Take your camera view. To expose the studs use the delete surface tool. If you make a new wall with a single layer and just fir studs; You will still have to use the delete surface tool to fully expose the studs.
