Text editing

When I open text & edit it in anyway, it often changes from 1 line to 2, or 2 lines to 3. Any suggestions?

I get the same thing, it frustrating, I would also like to know how to keep it the way it was, I end up clicking on it and stretching it the way I wanted it, Its useful when you add a bunch of new text, but I don't like it when you just change a title name or something..

Just for your info, and not to give any solution as none exists. The CA text function creates a text box the exact size of the text you have placed in it. If you edit it and make it any larger even capitalizing a letter it will naturally word wrap and you will have 2 lines. If you make the text smaller, it will still remain on 1 line. It is not a problem if you understand it. I just wish the text could be more easily lined up.
