    Room dimensions (basic question)

I want to create a plan using internal room dimensions. When moving a wall, the dimension display is currently defaulting to outside walls. I want to be able to enter internal dimensions. I'm guessing there is a simple answer to this one, like changing the defaults. However, after checking the manual, it is not immediately apparent to me where this is done.
    Cheers

dbl click the dimension icon to open the dimension defaults dbx>locat objects tab and check the box for both wall surfaces...if you want to dimension to the framing layer also check main layer (assuming that is your main layer)...to dimension to the sheetrock (or whatever the final wall sheeting is) check surfaces
