Printing to a HP5000N at 1200dpi ?

We are having problems printing to a HP5000N at 1200dpi. The printer has 32mb of RAM and we have tried several drivers. Chief drawings print ok at 600dpi, but when we print at 1200dpi, many lines disappear from the resulting print? We would be very interested to hear any ideas.

Ian:

Check your printer settings - if possible set it to use system meory not printer. Very slow and it may create it's own problems, but at least it's a test.
Doubling the DPI quadruples the prn file size and CA prn files are big to begin with.
