Word 7.0 to Layout
I am setting up a default Layout.
How can I put large Word Documents (Specifications & Schedules) on to my layout default?
I can do it in small pieces through my Text dbx. But that is slow and the pieces are hard to manage.
If I do it from CAD detail sheet it will not be in the correct directory.
I am able to do it in .bmp but they are not clean, and cannot be edited.
Answer please.

Most plans have specs that go with them. It is much easier to simply refer to schedules or other complex listings in a separate place in the specification document, which is attached to the plans, intead of as a drawing in the plans.

True- however, the Specs never wind up on the job with the Final Construction dwgs. The more specs I can put on the plan, the less problems in the field and less disputes with Owners. The Carpenters and the Subs are all reading from the same page. The Owner tends not to read the Specs as they are often assumed to be just so much "Construction Jargon" The ability to import text documents such as Word Perfect (or Word) would be aces !
