    Rafter framing ?

I built a shed roof off the side of a structure. At first I was going to use 2x6 rafters. That's the way I framed it. I then decided to use 2x10's. I changed the framing in the roof spec. and then rebuilt the roof and did a cross section. The rafters show as being 2x6 yet, but when I click on one it states it is a 2x10. In playing around I tried using 2x8's and 2x4's for rafters. I made the rafter 2x4 and the ridge 2x6 and they both showed correctly. I then made the rafter 2x8 and the ridge 2x10. After rebuilding the 2x10 rafter showed in cross section as a 2x6, but when I highlited it it was shown as being a 2x10. The 2x12 ridge showed correctly. Anyone ever had this happen? (X6) Am I missing something?

have you got auto build roof framing on? otherwise for the actual rafters to show correctly you will have to do a manual rebuild framing.

Graeme....I don't have auto rebuilding on, but every time I changed the rafter size I rebuilt the roof framing.

Almost sounds like a bug to me. I'd give TS a call and tell them what is happening and see if they know about what you are experiencing.
