Hello Aaron,
I too was excited until I tried importing the Collada file into Lumion. It is useless ! Lumion objects (trees, cars etc..) do not cast shadows on the model and the sun does not penetrate the windows giving a poor result.
I contacted tech support but had not luck.
Please let me know if you have had better luck or just assumed the collada file would work as it should.
Thanks,
Mike

Yep.... just figured this out. I knew something looked off and I couldn't get the house lit like I could before. I got prematurely excited. Oh well. Thanks for at least trying and hopefully you can fix this issue.

I haven't worked with it much as of yet, but I opened a collada file from Chief in Blender and then exported it out to Octane Render. Don't know anything about Lumion other than the few animations that I have watched. It will probably be a few weeks before I can take the time to check this out the way I would like to.
So far it looks good though.Rod Cole
