Ceiling Heights - want to pull my hair out

Issue - Drawing a main floor that has 100" finished ceilings.

easy enough to set when drawing the floor, but as soon as i generate a 2nd floor, it defaults back to an 8ft ceiling. Driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if i adjust the floor structure of the 2nd floor to be less depth, it still is not co operating.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have encountered this issue.
