    Storefront walls

I know this has been discussed before, but I wonder what is being done by others for situations like what I show here.

Storefront sticks, glass, and doors going into tall walls. I did the storefront as an entire symbol, and inserted the symbol into the wall, doing the wall segments as pony walls, the bottom parts invisible. Looks OK in 3D but the only decent 2D elevations I can do is using line drawing or technical.

I use transparent walls (go to properties and choose transparent for your wall material(s)) which allows doors and windows to be inserted as usual. Still tricky but it's worked OK in the past. Not sure about 2D views though. BTW I like your method. I'll store that one away.
