Lin,
I should add that I had problems initially running X5 on my previous HP laptop and it was an issue related to the video drivers. Make sure you download and install the latest drivers for your laptop. I also found Chief Architect support extremely helpful in resolving the problem after I told them I paid my SSL fee exactly to have these sorts of issues resolved.Alan Peach
