I've got grass in my basement!

I've tried all the terrain-related tricks I can think of, and nothing will get rid of the grassy mountain in this walk-out section of basement. This is a storage closet and covered storage area (with windows behind the grass) located under the terrace -- not part of the actual basement.

Any ideas for how to get the grass out of there?

Have you tried terrain feature where you want to get rid of the ground and set 'make hole'?

    Good Morning Kathleen,

I am assuming you have tried what was suggested? Maybe if you post the plan we can figure out what is wrong. What version are you using?

After the last election cycle I thought that grass in the basement was only legal in California and Colorado?

Thanks, guys -- terrain hole did the trick! "Hide terrain intersected by building" wasn't working, for some reason.

Alan, you are a funny guy.

It had room definition and was set to Utility. That's why I was so puzzled. Never had that happen before.

I just tested it, the fact that your room was defined as utility should not make a difference, there should not been any ganja in the utility room. (tested on x6).
