dishwasher not showing correct in plan view
I placed a Viking dishwasher in a cabinet, but in the plan view it shows too far back in the cabinet. In elevation or cross section it appears correct. I wouldn't have thought that even possible. Here are some pictures, but is this a bug?

This problem is a continuation of the Stretch Zone thread. The 2d bounding box is set to the extents of the 2D symbol which is incorrect. The 3d bounding box is set correctly.
An interesting fact is that if you use a chief dishwasher -- professional dishwasher - the 2D bounding box is set correctly - short of the open bar.
this means that you can modify a 2D bounding box in Chief as need be done in this case. Scott's fix work because the bounding box from origin is all positive numbers . Won't work if you need a negative value.Gerry

Yep, that worked - thank you. Will I need to do things like this for many symbols?

Probably not. But if you do have to for some, copy the updated version to your user library so you don't have to keep doing it every time you pull it from the default.
