    Completely Invisible Material

I imported an item from google warehouse, but I would like to make one of the materials invisible to eliminate it from the plan completely. I do not want it to make any shadows.

The scenario is a corner tub that is just the shape I need, but the faucet is in the wrong place. I wanted to make it clear. My other option is to put a set of stacked towels over it

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Jason,

You can use either Opening(no material) or Insulation Air Gap or you can edit the material already used for the faucet.

Use a "General Material" and set the transparency to 100%.

Or...open the symbol in Sketchup and simply delete the fixture.

I've set the material to glass, insulation air gap, changed the properties to 100% transparent. It still remains in raytrace and produces a shadow. I have never used sketchup (only google warehouse for the occasional image). I may give that a shot today. Thanks everyone!

I downloaded sketchup, deleted the faucet from the model, and re-imported it.
