Thread: Lag during roof editing in X6

Well the new patch did nothing for my slow roof editing, and support was pretty much a non-factor. However, I have discovered that the best option to speed up roof editing (and still have the model rebuild) is to turn off the "Rooms" display in 3D view.

I've mentioned this in another thread but cabinet default and custom countertops are what is causing me lag in 2D views. It might be worth turning them off in 3D and seeing if that helps.

The feedback I received from the Devs is that the 2D block for the new oval vanity sink that was introduced in the core libraries recently is causing the lag in 2D. Apparently changing the 2D block of the sink helps this issue. I haven't had time to compare it yet so I don't have answer as to whether or not that solved my issues.
